Both are four-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) programmes that blend data science, economics and applied business — a genuinely interdisciplinary design, delivered full-time and residential at IIM Bangalore's Jigani campus (about 30 km from the Bannerghatta campus).

The Mathematics requirement is central — you need Maths in Classes 11 and 12 and at least 60% in Maths in Class 10. If you didn't take Maths, IIMB accepts Mathematics completed through NIOS.

Admission does not use JEE. It runs through IIM Bangalore's own two-stage process: the IIMB UG Admissions Test, followed by a personal interview for shortlisted candidates. Selection is a weighted formula, not test-score-only:

On seats: IIM Bangalore has not published the intake for the 2027-31 batch in its official admission documents. The programme is small and highly selective — treat it as an ambitious target, not a safe bet.
Fee: the annual programme fee is ₹8.5 lakh per annum for the first two years (tuition, hostel and test fees), with a limited increase in years 3 and 4. Need-based financial aid is available.
