Features of the IPMAT Test 2023: Highlights

- The IPMAT is a computer-based exam that will be administered the same morning at various testing facilities around the globe.
- The exam has a 2 hour, or 120 minute, time limit.

Analysis: Quantitative Ability (MCQ)
This section’s level of difficulty was comparable to the previous years. There were 20 questions, and each section had a 30-minute time limit.

Three of the questions in the data interpretation set were based on inference, while the other two were moderately challenging. Like last year, there were only a few questions from higher mathematics. Overall, this part was challenging. Within the sectional time limit of 30 minutes, a good attempt is one that answers 14–15 questions.
Analysis: Verbal Ability (MCQ)
It was easy to moderately difficult in this section. Within the allotted time, it would have been simple to answer all 30 questions. Due to the revised structure, there were fewer questions in this section compared to the 2019 paper.

IPMAT Expected Cutoff 2023
The IPMAT 2023 cutoff refers to the minimum score test takers must achieve in order to qualify or be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process. The students who have been shortlisted must then show up for personal interviews at IIM Indore. The final merit list will then be announced shortly after this. Candidates can check the IPMAT cutoff from the prior year to get an estimate until the authorities announce the IPMAT cutoff 2023.
